Our Story
Manley Hot Springs Resort is a family-run retreat rooted in legacy and built with love. Originally opened by matriarch Elise Wright in the early 1980s, the resort served as a gathering place for locals and travelers alike until its doors closed in the late '90s following her passing. In 2019, Elise’s family returned to reclaim and rebuild the property—demolishing what time and weather had worn down, and constructing new cabins, a private spa house, and a flow-through natural hot springs tub. After years of dedication, we proudly reopened in 2021, welcoming guests once again to soak, stay, and experience the magic of this remote Alaskan escape.
Our resort offers luxury cabin rentals, a cozy on-site restaurant and bar, private hot springs access, and the kind of personalized hospitality that can only come from a family who lives and breathes the land they care for.
Nestled at the end of the Elliott Highway, Manley Hot Springs is a tiny off-grid community about 160 miles from Fairbanks. Rich in history and surrounded by natural beauty, Manley offers quiet wilderness, friendly locals, and a rare glimpse into life on Alaska’s frontier. Whether you're visiting for the healing waters, the northern lights, or the peaceful silence, you're always welcome here—just as Elise would’ve wanted.
